Pygmy Peashrub Caragana pygmaea is a slow growing plant used as a formal hedge. Small bright yellow flowers emerge from year old wood in late spring. It grows to 3 feet has a 3 to 4 foot spread and is very hardy and drought tolerant. Great small hedge or screen for difficult growing conditions since it tolerates poor soils drought and wind.
